Every year, I look forward to Saskatchewan Cycling's warm weather training camp in the Okanagan. It is a week of solid rides filled with beautiful scenery, quiet back roads, and epic climbs that is the largest draw for me, but this year was had an additional draw as my Dad came out to get some riding in too. It was nice to see some family again (the first time since January) and not having to cook for myself was a huge bonus.
Although the weather may have been the worst we've had since I started going on the warm weather camp, I think the camp was a huge success with Mike Horn running a great camp and I got to get to know some of the promising newcomers the province has to offer. This weekend I am off to Washington State for the "Tour of Walla Walla."
Have a great season everybody,
