Two Age Groups: Under 13 years of age and Under 17 years of age.
Equipment:
Participants are able to ride any bike
in the races; the bikes do need to have brakes and be in good working
order.
Host Clubs: The series is hosted and run
by the members of the Moose Jaw Pavers and Regina Cycling Clubs in partnership
with the Saskatchewan Cycling Association.
Program Information: Skills training will begin at 5:30PM and races at 6:00PM
Cost: $40 per person, which includes
insurance, race fees and coaching.

Licensing
The participants
shall be members of an affiliated cycling club and possess a Saskatchewan
Cycling Association (SCA) citizen permit.
One-day permits may be available at some events. Your registration
of $40 for the Youth Race Series will provide you with this license.
Youth Cup – Featuring a time trial and criterium
Race (Race on a short course). Placing is based on combined points from
the TT and criterium race for a general classification
(GC) result. These races will be awarded maximum series points.

Awards
Series The series winner in each age group will be awarded an engraved
plaque.
Club Challenge Points earned by youth racers count towards the Moose
Jaw Pavers and Regina Cycling Club – “Club Challenge”. Clubs wishing to
be the top youth team in Saskatchewan are strongly recommended to encourage
youth racing.
Equipment The wearing of an approved helmet is mandatory. Cycling gloves are strongly recommended. The participants are encouraged to ride on a
road-racing bicycle however other suitable bicycles may be utilized. All equipment must be in good repair, have adequate
tires and operating brakes.
Gearing No
restrictions are in place as this is an introductory series. However
racers and parents are encouraged to learn about gear restrictions and
adapt bicycles used by riders under the age of 19 to meet the requirements.
Gear restrictions are in place at regional and Sask Cup road races.
