IMBA Trail Building School at Blackstrap Provincial Park
Learn to design, build and maintain sustainable trails from the best! The International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) is dedicated to creating, enhancing and preserving trail opportunities for mountain bikers worldwide.
WHEN: Saturday, July 4th, 2009
WHAT: Classroom session (9am-12:00), Field session (1:30pm-5:00pm), BBQ and Social (6:00pm) to follow for all club members and participants
WHERE: Dundurn Community Hall (classroom), Blackstrap Provincial Park (field session), Blackstrap Provincial Park Campground (BBQ)
WHO: Cyclists, hikers, trail runners, walkers, outdoor enthusiasts (YOU!)
WHY: Pavement is boring! Dirt is fun!
HOW MUCH? FREE! (yes, we said FREE) **(Entry to the Provincial Park is $7 per vehicle)
We will also be having a group ride on the new trails on Sunday morning at 10:00, so come and make a weekend out of it. People will be camping at Blackstrap for the weekend, so if you can't make it on Saturday please come and join the club Sunday morning.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR TRAIL BUILDING--SPACE IS LIMITED
