Summer Mountain Biking Camp
August 11 & 12, 2007
Join us at beautiful Blackstrap for a 2-day all-inclusive camp. We will be using the fresh cut-single track trails, working on skill development and getting in some fantastic riding. Space is limited to 50 riders so please register early. We are pleased to offer this camp in conjunction with GM Canada as recipients of the GM Making Dreams Possible Community Club Coaching Sport Grant.
This camp includes:
Skills Sessions Mechanic’s Session (Beginner and Advanced)
Lunch included on Saturday and Sunday Learning Session (Saturday during the evening BBQ)
Trail Riding tactics & strategies Group rides (ability appropriate)
Sat evening BBQ And much more…
Cost of Camp:

Waiver, Release & Indemnity

PARENTAL CONSENT FOR MINOR PARTICIPANT AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
I have read and understood the above waiver, release and indemnity, and have discussed the same with the minor person signing above. I am satisfied the said minor understands the waiver and release and his/her obligations as set out. In consideration of the participation of my minor child/ward I too agree to waive, release and indemnify the Releasees in the terms set out above.

Camp Itinerary
Saturday, August 11th – Day One
9:00 am Camp Registration and Check-In
9:30 am Session 1 – Trail Ride, Skills Assessment & Skill Scan
11:00 am Break
11:15 am Session 2 – Getting your rump over the hump (Climbing)
12:30 pm Lunch (provided)
1:30 pm Session 3 – Cornering/Passing
3:00 pm Break
3:30 pm Session 4 – Skills (open area, trackstanding, teeters, ramps, etc) *this will be monitored based on skill levels
5:00 pm Mechanics Session: The Drivetrain (Beginner and Advanced)
5:30 pm Supper (provided) and Learning Session (Great places to ride in Saskatchewan)
7:30 pm Leave for home (or stay for those of you who are camping). J
Sunday, August 12th - Day Two
10:00 pm Session 1 – Descending
12:00 pm Lunch (provided)
1:00 pm Session 2 – Trail Ride, Skills Assessment & Skill Scan (follow-up)
2:30 pm Break
3:00 pm Group Activity Relay
Dual Slalom, Hill climb & Skills Course (Great fun)
5:00 pm Recap & Goodbyes
You will need:
Sunscreen
Bike Clothing (gloves, helmet, shoes)
Bike (working order with good brakes)
Bug Spray
Spare Bike Tube
Money (in case you want to buy at the concession)
2 Water Bottles (we will bring extra water each day but please arrive with 2 full waterbottles)
Snacks/Gels/Gatorade
We will be providing Lunch and Supper on Saturday and Lunch on Sunday.
