Mountain Bike Races

The schedule for all races is the same. If you pre-register for a race you must still sign-on between 9:00 am and 10:15 am on the race date. Helmets are mandatory on the pre-ride and while racing. Licensed racers must show their license on race day. Waiver of liability form and registration form must be completed and handed in at sign on. One day licenses are available at the race for $20 and is good for one event. A maximum of 1 one day license can be purchased in one year.

9-10:15 am Practice on the Course and Registration (Sign on)
10-10:30 am Bike Marking for Junior and Senior Expert and Elite riders
10:45 am rider staging for all waves
11:00 am start of the 1st wave of riders
2:00 pm Awards Ceremony

 


 

 


PeeGee Man River Run
Sask Cup Mtb #5
Provincials - North Battleford, August 29
Presented by: North West Mountain Bike Club & Phoenix Source for Sports

This race is held on the north shore of the North Saskatchewan River at North Battleford and will run through the beautiful surrounding river valley. The course is accessible by following Canola Avenue past the Maple leaf processing plant out to the new water treatment plant. Look for race signs beginning at the lights at Anderson Pump House on Highway Sixteen, east of North Battleford.

A meal and draws for prizes will take place after the race.

A separate raffle for a Bling Bling prize will take place to raise money for a local cause.

Entries fees are $35.00 for early registration. Entry fees must be received by August 26 to qualify for early registration fee. After that date, registration will be $50.

For 2010 the gold/silver/bronze medals awarded at the Provincial Mountain Bike race are as follows.

The underlined in red is the Sask Cup Points Medal; blue highlight is the   Provincial medal

Oneday license members are not eligible for any medals.
