Your picture on a moving build board!
The SCA has replaced the 2001 15 passenger van with a
2009 model and is in the process of developing a wrap for the trailer and
van. Part of the wrap will have candid pictures of cycling in
Sask. We will be taking pictures at Sask Cup Mtb #1 in North Battleford
for inclusion in the wrap.
Do you have a Team Sask jersey? If yes, bring it
with you. We would like a large group photo of Sask riders at a race
wearing Team Sask! New or retro Team Sask, just bring it along. You
can always switch back into your team/club jersey for the race.
If you hadn’t planned on being at the race, you may
want to; it is a great opportunity to have your picture on the van/trailer –
just think about the bragging rights to friends and family!
Sask Cup Mtb 1
starts this weekend; the race organizer reports the course is dry and fast!

Pine
Needle Bike Festival
www.pineneedlebikefestival.com
The Festival is on Sunday, June 12th in Little Red River Park.
The Festival is a 6 hour enduro mountain bike event….what! 6 hours, I can’t ride that long. No worries build your team of 4 or a team of 2 and conquer those 6 hours. Those who are hardcore’s can do it all on their own as well. Download your pledge form and raise some money for a local charity. The charity we have chosen this year is the Rotary Trail. We challenge you to raise as much as you can, and we have some great prizes for the top earners….Trek mountain bikes, weekend accommodation in Waskesiu at the Lakeview Hotel & Suites, and jackets from The North Face.
The mountain biking is just part of the event. We will have live entertainment on the stage starting at 11:30am. Local band The Ensemble and Saskatchewan star Jeff Straker from Regina will be a few of the performances.
The Festival isn't just for adults, we are going to have lots of activities for kids as well. Bring them out so they can participate in the Bike Rodeo or cut them loose in the 2 jumping castles.
With all this action going on you will need some food. We are organizing some tasty food for participants and spectators and will have more info soon. We hope to see you there.
