Lots of info here. Write it all down so you don't forget! Cyclocross season is upon us. Whether you are a brand new rider or a seasoned racer, this year's Thurs night sessions will be packed with action for all level of rider!
Cyclocross is a fall sport that takes place mostly in parks. The object of the event is to ride laps of a short course, hopping off your bike, when necessary, to get over small (but annoying) obstacles. The beauty of this sport is that everyone finishes on the same lap as the leader so no matter your fitness level, your race will always be about the same time duration. It doesn't matter if you want to race or not, cyclocross is just a great way to stay in shape going into the winter.
Thursday night Cyclocross Dates & Format
6:00 PM Technical training & 6:45 PM Sign-on for short course race
Lakewood Civic Centre (meet at east parking lot behind building)
Sept 4,11,18,25 and Oct 2
Tuesday night Cycledelia Training Schedule
6:15 PM Kinsmen Park ** these sessions may change location as the season progresses so please visit: www.cycledelia.ca to get updates.

Our second shipment of the new BCW Club clothing has arrived. The first shipment was so popular that we sold through most of it in only two weeks. This time we ordered more to meet the unexpected demand.
We also ordered shorts to match the jerseys. The shorts come in both men’s and women’s versions as well as a limited number of bib shorts. The reviews on the shorts are amazing! The chamois is the most comfortable that I personally have ever tried.
All the clothing is from our new Italian supplier – Biemme. They also do the team clothing for Rocky Mountain and Argon 18 – two excellent brands that we sell.
Prices are as follows for the new clothing –

Some of what this camp is offering:
If you have been thinking of ways to get faster than your competitors, or just how you might be able to hang a little bit longer with your group on a club ride, this is a great program to consider. If you feel you will be behind (or too far ahead), fear not, it's pretty hard to lose everyone when sitting on a wind trainer or riding on the track! This is a great opportunity to train with riders of all ability levels!
