The East Qu'Appelle Cartel is based in Esterhazy and exists to help promote cycling for sport and fitness in the Potashville area. Though small, we have enthusiastically adopted trail building as a key component of our strategy for growth. We have some of the finest single track in Southern Saskatchewan, thanks to the Qu'Appelle Valley which runs just South of Esterhazy, and the farmers who pasture cattle there. Our group includes some successful racers in the Sask. Cup series, but also includes the weekend warrior and others who just love to ride. 2008 marks our entry into the race series, which will highlight some of the excellent riding potential our area has to offer. We invite anyone passing by to drop in and give our trails a ride, you'll be glad you did. Chances are someone will be going out for a ride and can give you a bit of a tour. Wearing a helmet is mandatory.

NEW Updates and events: Any club announcements, group ride events or functions will be posted here. Any website updates are listed below.
The club is considering the purchase of some capital equipment. We are looking at buying an enclosed trailer to help with transporting trail building equipment, club bike trips, and race transportation for our members. We are also looking at acquiring a wheel truing stand as well as rotor truing fork. If you have any concerns or questions regarding these purchases please email us.
August 31, 2010 - Terry Z and Blair D have been hard at work grooming the race course. Terry Z. has trimmed the top section from the entrance to the west steep downhill. Blair has trimmed the bottom from the parking lot East to the road. Hats off go to Jeff N. and Craig V. for their work trimming, cutting and building bridges as well. Thanks to all others who have also put in time cutting and maintaining trails.
Events Oct. 14-17, 2010 This is the IMBA Trail Care Crew visit dates. This will have a classroom theory section as well as a trail building section and lets not forget the ride. I’ve spoken with a few people from Regina who hope to attend so all club members from Esterhazy should be able to make it out at some point during the visit.
